Marco Island, Naples, Ten Thousand Islands Charter Fishing/font>>/font>

Marco Island fishing has been abundant with good action in the backwater as well as near shore and offshore.

We're getting redfish, snapper and trout with live shrimp, especially on an outgoing tide. Also, lots of Spanish mackerel and

bonnet head sharks are being caught in the pass with 3/8 oz. jigs tipped with shrimp. The same jigs are being used to catch pompano

the last hour or two on a good incoming tide.

Near shore are Spanish mackerel, bonita and several species of sharks in up to 30 feet of water with tipped jigs and cut bait.

Off shore threads and live pins are catching red grouper, more sharks with a few kings mixed in.
