This listing is for a 1980 36ft Searay Sedan Bridge, it has twin 3208 catapillar with turbos. We bought this boat a little over 3 years ago. when we bought it the previous owner had just got it out of the ship yard, where he had just had the bottom rejell coated from the rubrail down, had fresh bottom paint put on it, he had new shafts and rudders and new wheels installed, engines were freshen up by a a certified catapillar mechanic, any and all parts and hoses that were installed were catapillar brand. Has large flybridge with lots of seating, bridge has new canvas top with new curtain windows that have been kept stored inside the boat and are still like new. Large cockpit area with large tackle boxes, cockpit has canvas cover that needs restitching in one spot, cover is hinged to easily folded back for fishing. Boat has 22 ft Lee jr. outriggers and lots of pole holders. Also has a swim platform with fold down ladder. Now for the inside it has a large stateroom and galley, it has liquor bar with icemaker, large fridge with freezer, microwave, stove. It has a laarge head with a seperate large standup shower. It has nice midcabin with bunkbeds and closets. It has Large front v-birth with queen size bed, lots of storage and it.It also has twin 16000 btu heat and air system, it has electronics and radar , which they are old and someone would probaly want to update them but they do work. We bought the boat at the end of 2005 and only got to use it no more than 4 times due to a bad motorcycle accident that happened in april of 2006. 2006 turned out not to be a very good year for us, after having the accident not even a month latter our home burned down so we have not used the boat since, it gets cranked at least twice a week and we live on a bayou not far from the bay so about once a month we take it out for a little spin in the bay just to keep everything running good. Most everything on the boat works except the hotwater heater which I have taken appart to fix before the accident and the generator went out and we took it out to have it repaired but were told it would be better to just get another one. This boat is a turn key boat, it starts every time instantly. If our situation were not as it is we would not be selling it but we have had no time to put into it and it really needs some TLC badly mostly cleaning and cosmetic. We took pitures after we decorated it when we got it because it looked about how it does now dirty and no cosmedic work so now it needs it again. The beds and kitchen furniture come with the boat but the large stateroom no longer has the furniture in it that you will see in the pics. But for the price we are asking and all it needs, like I said is some TLC and it could look just as it did when the pics were taken in march of 2006. This is a really nice boat and it is a shame we did not even get to enjoy it and now we don't have the time and we have got to sell it. This was our dream boat and we hope that whoever buys it will really get to enjoy it, since the engines were redone it may have 50 to 60 hours on it.
