BASS Announces Dates 2006 CITGO Bassmaster Tour and All-New Majors

Montgomery, Ala. - BASS today announced the following dates for its 2006 CITGO Bassmaster Tour events and majors - the Bassmaster Memorial, Bassmaster American and Bassmaster Legends.

The tournament season will open with the CITGO Bassmaster Classic at a location that has not yet been determined.  Site surveys are in progress and will continue until the best venue is selected for the late February event.

"These dates are firm, and we're announcing this now - before we've finalized locations or host cities - so our anglers can mark their calendars and make plans for what promises to be the most exciting and challenging tournament season ever," said BASS General Manager Don Rucks.

The CITGO Bassmaster Tournament Trail, which includes the Bassmaster Elite 50 series, is the oldest and most prestigious pro bass fishing tournament circuit and continues to set the standard for credibility, professionalism and sportsmanship as it has since 1968.
