BASS Masters Classic Champion Among Those Appearing in Mobile
Free B.A.S.S. Federation Seminar Allows You to Learn from the Best
Mobile, Ala. (March 26, 2001) Learn to make the most of your time on the
water by sharpening your fishing skills at the free BASSMASTER University
mini-clinic to be held in conjunction with the BC® Powder/B.A.S.S.®
Federation Championship April 26-28 in Mobile.
At noon on Saturday, April 28 join 2000 BASS Masters Classic Champion Woo
Daves, nine-time Classic contender Shaw Grigsby and Alabama's Randy Howell,
a two-time Classic qualifier, at the Mobile Convention Center as they share
experiences and fishing techniques that helped catapult them to the top of
"Here's another chance for me to give a little something back to the fans of
the BASSMASTER Tour," said Daves. "I'm also anxious to see how tough the
competition will be from the Federation ranks at this summer's Classic."
The 2001 BC® Powder/B.A.S.S.® Federation Championship pits 51 of the
world's top amateur anglers against each other and the challenging waters of
the Mobile Delta. Anglers from 46 states and Canada, Japan, Italy, South
Africa and Zimbabwe will compete for a $50,000 purse and five berths in the
BASS Masters Classic, August 2-4 in New Orleans.
BASSMASTER University is an educational program of the Bass Anglers
Sportsman Society and has been helping anglers of all levels improve their
skills for over 20 years.

In addition to the seminar, all B.A.S.S. Federation and Life Members are
invited to attend an exclusive meet the pros session beginning at 10:30 a.m.

members and their families can meet the pros and get autographs.
