Again, we would like to extend our sympathy to everyone who lost friends and
family and those who still have loved ones missing in last week's national
tragedy.
The CITGO BASSMASTER® Tour event in Catskill, New York that was postponed will
be replaced by the CITGO BASSMASTER® Tour in Kissimmee, Florida on Lake Toho
the week of December 9 - 15, 2001.
All amateurs that had been previously drawn to participate in the New York Tour
event will have first choice to participate in this event. Amateurs must notify
the B.A.S.S. Tournament staff no later than Friday, October 5, 2001 if they are
going to participate in the December event or wish to cancel and receive a full
refund.
Refunds have already been issued for the New York Tour amateurs on the waiting
list, however, any cancellations from the tournament will be worked off of the
original waiting list. If you want to stay on the waiting list, you must notify
the B.A.S.S. Tournament Department at (334) 272-9530 no later than October 5,
2001.
All monies paid by the pros for the CITGO BASSMASTER® Tour in New York will be
transferred to the tournament in December at Lake Toho.
The CITGO BASSMASTER® Open that was canceled at Clayton, New York will not be
replaced by another event. All participants that were in that event as of
Friday, September 7, 2001 will receive a full refund as soon as possible.
The 2001-02 CITGO BASSMASTER® Eastern Opens will consist of only the next three
events on the schedule.
