TUBEJIG TRICKS

Here are a few tricks for making a tubejig even more effective:

• Fill the hollow body of the lure with attractant or even pieces of Alka-Seltzer.
• Create a floating tubejig by inserting Styrofoam and fish it on a Carolina rig.
• Add a crawfish imitation as a trailer for added attraction.
• For sluggish, deep-water bass, fit a tubejig over a lead jigging spoon.
• Use a drop of Super Glue to keep a tubejig or trailer in place.
• Glue a rattle chamber on the shaft of the hook.
