The Shimano Stradic FM Spinning Reel is the latest model to Shimano's CoreSolid spinning reel lineup. The Stradic FM has transformed remarkably by integrating state-of-the-art technology derived from Shimano's finest spinning reels. The revolutionary InfinityXross technology has extended the gear tooth horizontally, ensuring an even distribution of load, leading to unparalleled durability and coherence. This exceptional reeling experience is achieved by combining Shimano's cold-forged HAGANE gearing for increased strength with the sophistication of MicroModule II.

The Stradic FM now comes with InfinityDrive, which offers smooth rotation and increased power when reeling in heavy loads. Its new Duracross Drag system delivers the same smooth performance as felt but with up to ten times more durability. To ensure reliable performance throughout its lifespan, Shimano's X-Protect water-repellent coating and specially designed labyrinth construction prevent water from seeping into crucial areas without adding any significant weight. Moreover, the new Anti-Twist Fin, a flexible polymer located underneath the roller, improves line management for anglers who use monofilament or fluorocarbon line. The Stradic FM joins Shimano's extensive range of high-quality fishing reels.

• Anti-Twist Fin
  • The flexible polymer fin is installed near the line roller. This maintains line tension to reduce sagging and prevents the line from falling off the bottom of the spool or wrapping around the spool in an uneven manner.
