If you would normally wear an XS the beanie may be too loose on you, though you may be able to shrink it down putting it in the dryer at a high heat. Just be careful not to shrink it too much.
If you normally wear an XL the Akron may be too tight. Though we have heard success stories of people stretching beanies on to large objects and letting them sit for a few hours to naturally stretch out the material.
