I’ve been fishing for as long as I can remember, and it’s always been one of my favorite things to do. I’m always looking for ways to improve my fishing game, and that’s why I was excited to try out the Ray-Ban Predator 2 Sunglasses. I’d heard good things about them and was curious to see if they lived up to the hype.
I put the RayBan Predator 2 sunglasses through a series of tests to see how they performed while fishing. I wanted to see how well the lenses worked in different lighting conditions, how comfortable they were to wear for long periods of time, and how well they held up to the elements. I also wanted to see if they were compatible with my fishing style and if they worked well on my favorite lake, Kentucky Lake in TN.
They’ve got a sleek and clean design that looks great, but more importantly, they do an excellent job of protecting my eyes from the sun. The lenses are polarized and have a mirror treatment that does a great job of reducing glare. The frame is made from flexible nylon, which is comfortable to wear and provides ample coverage. And the raised etchings on the temple tips help to keep the glasses in place, even when I’m sweating.
Overall, I’m really happy with the RayBan Predator 2 Sunglasses. They look great and they perform even better. If you’re looking for a new pair of sunglasses to help you enjoy your time on the water, I would definitely recommend giving them a try.
One of the most important things to me in a pair of sunglasses is the lens quality. I need to be able to see clearly while I’m fishing, and the last thing I want is a pair of sunglasses that are going to cause me headaches or make my eyes water. The Predator 2 sunglasses have polarized lenses that did an excellent job of reducing glare and providing clear vision, even in bright sunlight. I was very impressed with the lens quality and didn’t experience any problems while wearing them.
Another important thing to me in a pair of sunglasses is the fit. I have a slightly thin face, and I need sunglasses that are going to stay in place and not slip down my nose. The Predator 2 sunglasses have a wrap-around design that fit snugly on my face and didn’t slip, even when I was sweating. I was very pleased with the fit of the sunglasses and didn’t have any issues with them during my testing.
I’m hard on my gear, and I need sunglasses that are going to hold up to my abuse. The Predator 2 sunglasses are made with a durable nylon frame that held up well during my testing. I didn’t have any problems with the frame breaking or coming apart, and the lenses didn’t scratch or shatter when I dropped them (which happens more often than I’d like to admit).
Recently when I was fishing with the Predator 2 sunglasses and I hooked into a big bass. She was putting up a big fight as I was trying to get her into the boat. Suddenly she decided to reverse course at the same time I jerked my rod back. She came flying up, out of the water and straight into my face. I almost fell out of the boat. Even though the bass smacked right into the Predator 2’s, they were completely unharmed. Can’t say the same for my face, which was pretty red for a while afterward.
I fish a lot of different techniques, but my favorite is flipping shallow cover in search of big bass. The Predator 2 sunglasses are well suited for this type of fishing, as they provide good coverage and don’t slip when you’re moving a lot.
I also like that they have a wrap-around design, as it helps keep the sun out of your eyes when you’re looking down into the water.
When I’m not fishing, I’m usually deer hunting or spending time with my family. The Predator 2 works great for both hunting and just every day activities.
For hunting, I appreciate the wide coverage they provide. I haven’t had any issues with light coming in from the side when I’m looking through them into my scope.
When I’m hanging out with my family, they stay put on my head, and hold up well to the general abuse any type of glasses get when you’re around little ones.
Overall, I was very impressed with the Ray-Ban Predator 2 sunglasses. They have excellent lens quality, a great fit, and are very durable. They’re also well suited for my fishing style and work great for other activities when I’m not fishing.
If you’re looking for a new pair of sunglasses that will perform well in all types of situations, I would highly recommend the Predator 2’s.
Hydrophobic coating is a water-repellant lens technology that helps keep your vision clear and free of water, oil, and dirt.
The hydrophobic coating creates a barrier on the lens surface that causes water to bead up and roll off, rather than stick to or penetrate the lens.
This is especially beneficial for those who enjoy outdoor activities, like fishing, as it helps keep your lenses clean and clear so you can stay focused on your surroundings.
Oleophobic Coating is a clear liquid repellent that is applied to surfaces to protect them from oil and water-based stains. The coating creates an invisible barrier that causes liquids to bead up and roll off the surface, making it easier to clean.
Oleophobic coatings work by filling in the microscopic pores on a surface, creating a smooth barrier that repels water and oil-based liquids. The coating is invisible to the naked eye and does not change the appearance of the surface.
The advantage of oleophobic coating is that it makes surfaces easier to clean and helps to prevent staining. It can be used on a variety of surfaces, including glass, metal, and plastic.
When light waves hit a surface, some of the waves reflect off of the surface. The angle at which the waves reflect can affect how much light is reflected. A perfect reflection is when the angle of incidence (angle at which the waves hit the surface) is equal to the angle of reflection.
When light reflects off of a surface, it can cause glare. Glare is when too much light enters your eye, making it difficult to see. It can cause eye fatigue and even temporary blindness. When you are driving, reflections from the road and other vehicles can cause glare and make it difficult to see.
Reducing reflection is important because it helps reduce glare. This helps improve your vision and makes it easier on your eyes.
