The Lew’s HyperMag Spinning Reel features a machined aluminum handle that is designed to provide anglers with optimum comfort and control when fishing. The Winn Dri-Tac knob is ergonomically designed to fit comfortably in the hand, providing additional grip and control. The combination of the machined aluminum handle and the Winn Dri-Tac knob allows for a secure yet comfortable grip on the reel while fishing.

A machined aluminum handle offers several benefits for anglers using Lew’s HyperMag. It provides durability, as it is made from strong aluminum material that can withstand any bumps or drops during an outing. Additionally, its lightweight design helps reduce fatigue while casting or retrieving line throughout extended periods of time, allowing anglers to keep their hands fresh during long days out on the water.

The Winn Dri-Tac knob is specifically designed to provide extra grip and control when using the HyperMag. The rubberized texture provides enhanced gripping power by preventing slipping due to sweat or water dripping from an angler’s hands onto their reel during use. This extra grip helps maintain accuracy while casting and retrieving line in all conditions, making it ideal for those who want precision performance out on the water.

Enhanced Performance with Multi-Disc Drag System

The Lew’s HyperMag features a multi-disc drag system that provides superior control and performance when fishing. A drag system is designed to help anglers keep their catch secure and prevent line breakage during intense fights with large fish. It works by allowing the spool to rotate freely while providing enough resistance to maintain line tension during the fight, preventing it from breaking.

The HyperMag spinner is equipped with an advanced multi-disc drag system that gives anglers more control over their catch. This type of drag system offers more consistent performance throughout the entire range of settings as compared to traditional single disc systems. Furthermore, it provides an increased level of precision for fighting hard-pulling fish, allowing for greater accuracy when setting the hook or adjusting pressure on larger catches. The multi-disc design ensures that there is less wear and tear on internal components, resulting in longer lasting performance even after multiple uses in wet conditions. Finally, this advanced technology helps reduce friction between moving parts in order to provide smoother operation even under heavy loads or high speeds.

Speed Lube for Uninterrupted Performance in Any Weather

The HyperMag is outfitted with Lew’s exclusive Speed Lube technology, a high-performance lubricant that keeps the reel running smoothly and consistently in any weather. Speed Lube is composed of high quality synthetic oil and special additives to provide superior lubrication and protection from corrosion.

Speed Lube is designed to minimize friction between the parts of the reel, allowing for maximum line retrieval with minimal effort. It minimizes wear on the gears and bearings, extending their life expectancy. The lubricant penetrates deep into the inner workings of the reel to keep it running smoothly for longer periods of time without needing additional lubing or maintenance.

Speed Lube provides anglers with several benefits while fishing in any weather condition. It provides superior performance in extreme temperatures, allowing anglers to fish longer without worrying about their gear malfunctioning due to heat or cold temperatures. The reduced friction makes retrieving line easier, as it requires less effort than other reels that don’t have this advanced technology built-in. Furthermore, since Speed Lube works deep within the reel’s interior parts to protect them from corrosion, anglers can count on their gear lasting for years to come without needing repairs or replacements due to rust damage caused by harsh saltwater conditions

Lightweight Double Anodized Aluminum for Easy Handling

Anodized aluminum is an electrochemical process that converts the metal surface into a protective oxide finish, making it highly corrosion resistant. This process creates a durable coating on the aluminum that is not only more aesthetically pleasing, but adds strength and durability to the material. The Lew’s HyperMag features double anodized aluminum for superior protection against wear and tear.

Regular aluminum is susceptible to corrosion due to environmental factors like oxygen and water, which can cause the material to weaken over time. Anodizing protects regular aluminum by adding a layer of oxidation onto its surface which increases its resistance against corrosive elements. Additionally, anodizing provides improved aesthetics with its vibrant colors and glossy finishes as well as increased durability in comparison to regular aluminum.

The HyperMag is equipped with double anodized aluminum for superior performance in both fresh and saltwater environments. This feature allows anglers to cast longer distances with greater accuracy due to its lightweight construction while providing enhanced protection from abrasions or scratches caused by everyday use or contact with rocks or other debris when fishing out on the water. Furthermore, this feature makes Lew’s HyperMag more reliable as well as aesthetically pleasing compared to other spinning reels on the market today

Lightweight & Strong Magnesium Skeletal Rotor

Magnesium is an ultra-lightweight metal that is more malleable and ductile than traditional metals. This makes it a great material for fishing reel components, as it can be shaped into intricate designs that are strong and lightweight. Magnesium has superior corrosion resistance, which helps ensure the life of your reel.

The HyperMag spinning reel features a magnesium skeletal rotor that offers several benefits for anglers. First, its light weight ensures smooth operation with less effort required to cast and retrieve bait or lures. Additionally, the skeletal design increases surface area exposure to water flow which reduces friction so you can cast farther with less energy expenditure. Furthermore, because magnesium is resistant to corrosion, you’ll enjoy a longer life out of your reel compared to other materials such as aluminum or steel. In addition to these benefits, the Lew’s HyperMag features 11 stainless steel bearings and an anti-reverse bearing for smoother operation and longer casts in any condition while providing maximum drag up to 20 lbs in order to land bigger catches with ease!

Magnesium Body and Side Plate for Lightweight Comfort

The HyperMag features a magnesium body and side plate, offering superior performance and lightweight comfort while fishing. Magnesium is one of the lightest metals available, making it ideal for weight-sensitive applications such as fishing reels. The magnesium body and side plate provide optimal strength without compromising on weight. This makes it easier to handle the reel in long angling sessions or when casting into heavy cover. Additionally, the magnesium body helps reduce corrosion due to its natural resistance to rusting and wear.

The primary benefit of using a magnesium body and side plate is improved comfort while fishing due to its lightweight construction. Additionally, its corrosion-resistant properties help ensure long lasting durability even under harsh conditions. The HyperMag incorporates Speed Lube technology which further enhances smooth performance by providing consistent lubrication in all temperatures or weather conditions for optimum function every time you take it out for a day of fishing!

Zero Reverse One-Way Clutch Bearing for Smooth Function

The Lew’s HyperMag is equipped with a zero reverse one-way clutch bearing, which provides smooth operation and allows for effortless casting and retrieving. This type of bearing is a specialized ball bearing that allows rotational motion in one direction while preventing it in the opposite direction. It has two separate parts; an inner race and an outer race. The inner race can move freely along the shaft, while the outer race is locked to the shaft by spring loaded balls or rollers.

When you turn the handle of your reel, this causes the inner race to rotate inside of the outer race, creating a smooth turning motion that is transferred through to your line and lure. When you’re ready to start reeling again, this clutch bearing keeps your line in place so that you don’t have to worry about it slipping back or getting tangled up on something else as you start reeling again.

The zero reverse one-way clutch bearing on Lew’s HyperMag spinning reel helps anglers achieve greater control over their casts as well as increased accuracy when setting hooks or retrieving lures from underwater targets. Additionally, this type of bearing ensures that your line will not slip back during retrieves, reducing fatigue from having to constantly rewind after every cast and increasing overall comfortability when fishing for long periods of time.

Proprietary-Forged Main Gear for Enhanced Performance

Lew’s HyperMag Spinning Reel offers an innovative proprietary-forged main gear for enhanced performance. This main gear is made from a high-grade stainless steel material that is designed to be strong and durable. The purpose of the proprietary-forged main gear is to increase the reel’s overall strength, reduce weight, and improve its overall performance.

The Proprietary-Forged Main Gear increases strength by providing more support for the spinning reel’s internal components. This allows for increased power output without compromising durability or precision. Additionally, this technology reduces the reel’s overall weight which makes it easier to handle during fishing trips and increases its agility in casting and retrieving operations.

The Proprietary-Forged Main Gear offers anglers many advantages when using Lew’s HyperMag including increased power output, improved accuracy in casting and retrieving operations, reduced weight making it easier to handle, greater reliability due to increased strength of internal components, and a smoother operation due to reduced friction between parts during use.

Corrosion-Resistant Stainless Steel Screws

Steel is an alloy of iron and carbon, while stainless steel is an alloy of iron, chromium and other metals. Steel is susceptible to corrosion when exposed to the elements, while stainless steel has a protective layer due to its chromium content that prevents rust.

When fishing in saltwater environments, it’s important to have corrosion-resistant screws that won’t rust or corrode quickly over time. Corrosion-resistant screws are essential for maintaining the durability and reliability of the reel in harsh environments.

The HyperMag features ultra stainless steel self drilling screws which offer 500 hour salt spray protection when compared with standard 410 stainless steel screws. Additionally, these fasteners are much stronger than traditional alloy fasteners for added durability and reliability. The reel features a double anodized skeletal braid ready spool for additional security against corrosion in saltwater environments, as well as silicon bronze zip ties which don’t rust or corrode easily over time.

Robust 11 Bearing System for Increased Strength

A bearing system is an essential component of a spinning reel, which helps the reel spin smoothly when reeling in a fish. Bearings are usually made of steel balls and are placed between two circles or rings and help reduce friction, allowing for a more efficient transfer of energy. The number of bearings that a reel has will determine how well it performs when reeling in large fish or big catches.

The Lew’s HyperMag Spinning Reel is equipped with 11 high-quality stainless steel ball bearings.
